Sound Safari

A gentle game where you help {child_name} practice turning toward the sound of your voice, building their listening skills and connection with you.

How it works

  1. 1

    First, let's get your child settled. Make sure they is comfortable on they back. Gently say your child's name from directly above, where they can see you. Watch how they responds.

    Now, move quietly to one side of your child, just out of direct sight. Softly call your child's name again. Notice if they turns toward the sound.

  3. 3

    Let's switch to the other side. Move to your child's opposite side, still out of direct view. Call your child's name sweetly. See if they turns the other way this time.

  4. 4

    For our last round, move back above your child and use a playful whisper. Say something like 'I love you, your child.' Watch for that sweet turn or smile.
