How it works
- 1
First, let's get comfy. Sit in your chair and cradle your child in your arms so they is facing you, with they head resting gently against your chest. We'll start nice and easy.
- 2
Now, let's make it fun! Slowly lean back just a little so your child is more upright in your arms, facing you. Give them a big, smiling hello to encourage them to look at your face.
- 3
Time for a little adventure! If you have a colorful toy or rattle, hold it about 8-12 inches from your child's face. Gently shake it or move it slowly side to side to see if they follows it.

Let's finish with something special. If you have a mirror, hold your child so they can see themself. Otherwise, just keep holding them close and talk about what a great job they did today.
