How it works

  1. 1

Let's start by making some gentle, high-pitched 'eeee' sounds to your child. Lean in close so they can see your mouth shape. Make your eyes wide and excited as you squeal softly.

  2. 2

Now let's play peek-a-boo with squeals! Cover your face with the colorful scarf (or your hands), then reveal with a big 'eeee!' squeal. Watch how your child reacts.

  3. 3

Let's try 'squeal copycat'! Make three different squeals: a short one, a long drawn-out one, and a wobbly one. See if your child tries to match any of them.

  4. 4

For our final game, let's do 'squeal surprises'! Gently bounce your child on your knees (or wiggle their legs if they's on their back) and make a squeal with each movement.
