A fun game where you and your child take turns showing interesting objects to each other to practice sharing excitement and attention.

How it works

First, let's get your child interested. Pick up one object, like the colorful cup. Hold it up where your child can see it, make an excited face, and say 'Look what I found!'

Now let's encourage your child to share something back. Hold out your hand and say 'Can you show me something?' or 'What do you want to show me?'

When your child shows you something, respond with excitement! Say 'Wow! You're showing me the [object name]!' Make eye contact and smile.

Let's extend the sharing. When your child shows you something, say 'Thank you for showing me! Can I see it?' Reach out gently as if to take it, then immediately give it back.
