Dress-Up Dash
A playful activity where {child_name} practices removing simple clothing items like socks, loose pants, and open jackets in a fun, game-like setting.
Opens a guided voice session in TogetherTime.
How it works
- 1
Let's begin with socks! Hold up a sock and say, 'Look, your child! Can you take this sock off your foot?' If they is wearing socks, encourage them to try. If not, you can put a loose sock on their foot first.
- 2
Now let's try pants! If your child is wearing loose pants or shorts, say, 'Can you push your pants down?' If not, you can have them put on a loose pair over their clothes. Encourage them to stand or sit and try to push them down to their ankles.
- 3
Time for jackets! Hold up the open-front jacket and say, 'Let's take off this jacket! Can you pull your arm out?' Help your child put it on if needed, then encourage them to slide one arm out at a time.
- 4
Let's make it a game! Say, 'Let's see how fast you can put the clothes in the basket!' Encourage your child to pick up the removed socks, pants, or jacket and toss them into a laundry basket or box.
