How it works

  1. 1

First, let's offer the soft silicone spoon. Hold it about six inches from your child's face, wiggle it gently, and say something like, 'Look at this spoon!' Watch how they responds.

  2. 2

Now, let's offer the spoon for mouthing. Gently place the handle near your child's hand or against their lips. Say, 'Would you like to taste it?' Observe how they interacts.

  3. 3

Let's introduce the textured washcloth. Dampen it with cool water if you like. Gently stroke your child's cheek or hand with it, saying, 'This feels bumpy!' Then offer a corner for mouthing.

  4. 4

Finally, let's offer the teething ring. Hold it out and see if your child reaches or mouths it. You can say, 'This one's for chewing!'
