Name Game Hide-and-Seek

A playful peek-a-boo style game where you call your child's name from different positions to encourage them to turn toward your voice.

How it works

  1. 1

    First, let's get your child's attention. Hold up the soft toy near your face and say in a warm, playful voice: 'Peek-a-boo! I see your child!'

  2. 2

    Now, let's try from a different angle. Move slightly to the side while holding the toy, and say: 'Where's your child? There they is!'

  3. 3

    Let's add a little hide-and-seek. Hold the blanket or scarf in front of your face, then lower it and say: 'Hello your child! I found you!'

  4. 4

    Now, let's try without the toy. Simply look at your child and say they name warmly: 'your child, you're so special!'
