Cuddle Time with Toy Friends

How it works

   Let's start by introducing the stuffed animal to your child. Hold it gently and say, 'Look your child, this is your soft friend! Can you give them a gentle hug?'

   Now let's make the stuffed animal feel cozy. Show your child how to wrap the blanket around the toy. 'Our friend is getting sleepy. Can you tuck them in with the blanket?'

   Let's practice giving love. Say to your child, 'Our friend loves hugs! Can you give them another big hug? Maybe even a kiss?'

4. 4

   Let's extend the play. Ask your child, 'Is our friend hungry? Can you give them a drink?' (Use the optional cup if available, or pretend).
