How it works

  1. 1

First, let's get your child comfortable on their back. Gently place them on the blanket where they can see your face. Notice if their hands are open or closed.

  2. 2

Now, let's bring attention to their hands. Hold the rattle about 8-10 inches above your child's chest and gently shake it. Watch their eyes and hands.

  3. 3

Now let's encourage hand-to-mouth movement. Gently bring one of your child's hands toward their mouth while maintaining eye contact. Go slowly and watch their reaction.

  4. 4

Let's give your child a chance to explore independently. Place the soft toy near their hands and observe what happens naturally.
