How it works

    Let's begin! Show your child the bowl and the toy. Point to the bowl and say clearly, 'Put the toy in the bowl.' Make sure to point from the toy to the bowl as you say it.

    Now let's try with the spoon. Hold up the spoon and point to the bowl. Say, 'Tap the bowl with the spoon.' Make a gentle tapping motion in the air as you say it.

  3. 3

    Let's try one more! Point to the toy in the bowl and then point to yourself. Say, 'Give the toy to me.' Open your hands to show you're ready to receive it.
