How it works

  1. 1

Let's start with the cup. Show your child the cup and say, 'This is for drinking!' Take a pretend sip yourself, then hand it to your child. Watch what they does.

  2. 2

Now let's try the toy phone. Hold it to your ear and say, 'Hello! It's for talking.' Then offer it to your child. See if they imitates you.

  3. 3

Next, the book. Open it, point to a picture, and say, 'Look, it's for reading!' Hand it to your child and see what they does.

  4. 4

Last, the spoon. Pretend to eat from it and say, 'Yum, it's for eating!' Offer it to your child. Watch if they tries to use it.
