How it works

    Let's start by showing your child the empty bowl. Point to it and say, 'Put the napkin in the bowl.' Use a clear pointing gesture toward the bowl as you say it.

    Now let's try with another item. Hold up the cup and say, 'Put the cup in the bowl.' Point to the bowl again as you say it.

  3. 3

    Let's try one more. Point to the stuffed animal and say, 'Can you put the toy in the bowl?' Use a sweeping gesture from the toy to the bowl.
