Clap-Along Surprise Box

How it works

  1. 1

First, let's introduce the surprise box. Show your child the container and shake it gently to make a sound. Say something like, 'Look what I have! Something fun is inside!'

  2. 2

Now pull out the first item slowly. Make it playful—maybe wiggle a sock or tap a spoon. Say, 'Ta-da! Look what came out!'

  3. 3

Pull out a second item, but this time, clap your own hands enthusiastically first. Say, 'Yay! Another surprise! Can you clap too?'

  4. 4

Now, let's build anticipation. Hide an item behind your back, then bring it out suddenly with a cheerful, 'Peek-a-boo surprise!'
