Red Light, Green Light Fun

Start voice activity

How it works

  1. 1

First, show your child the green paper and say 'Green light means go!' Encourage them to move toward the toy. Let's see if they starts moving when you give the cue.

  2. 2

Now, show the red paper and say 'Red light means stop!' right as your child is moving. See if they can pause or slow down when hearing 'red light.'

  3. 3

Let's mix it up! Alternate between 'green light' and 'red light' a few times. Watch how your child switches between going and stopping.

  4. 4

Now, let's add a little challenge. Ask your child to wait for 'green light' before touching the toy. Say 'Wait... green light!' and see if they can hold back.
