Cuddle Time with Stuffed Friends
Opens a guided voice session in TogetherTime.
How it works
- 1
First, let's get comfortable. Sit with your child on the floor with the blanket and the stuffed animals. Hold one stuffed animal close to you and say, 'Oh, teddy feels so happy when we cuddle!' Then gently hug the teddy. Now, hand another stuffed animal to your child and say, 'Can you give bunny a gentle hug too?'
- 2
Now, let's play a little game. Make one stuffed animal look 'sad' by drooping its head and using a soft, sad voice: 'Oh, teddy is feeling a little blue. Can your child give teddy a kiss or a pat to make they feel better?'
- 3
Next, let's include you! Say to your child, 'You're so good at hugging. Can you give you a big cuddle too?' Open your arms for a hug.
- 4
Lastly, let's practice gentle care. Place all stuffed animals on the blanket and say, 'Our friends are tired from all the cuddles. Can your child tuck them in with the blanket and give them a goodnight kiss?'
