Still Four! Split-and-Check
A simple 4-item game where you helps your child split into different groupings (2+2, 3+1) and recount to check the total stays the same when nothing is added or taken away.
What you'll need
Essentials
- 4 small objects (e.g., raisins, grapes, blocks, bath toys)
- 2 bowls/cups (or 2 spaces on the table)
Nice to have
- a small plate as the 'whole' spot
Movement level: false
What you'll do
The 3-step guide, with what to look for at each step, is for signed-in parents.
