Name Sound Detective: First-Letter Hunt
A playful name-based sound hunt where you help your child notice the first sound in familiar words (especially their name), connect it to a letter, and use marks and ‘environment print’ around the home to make those letter-sound links meaningful.

- a thick marker/crayon/pencil
- 1–3 familiar objects from around the home (e.g., cup, spoon, ball, toy car)

- a piece of packaging with a clear printed letter (cereal box, label, etc.)
