Exploring Hands and Feet
Parent helps baby discover their own body by gently bringing hands and feet toward baby's mouth. The agent coaches the parent to observe how baby perceives their own limbs — watching for hand regard, oral exploration, and intentional reaching as signs of developing body awareness and cognitive self-recognition.
Free to do together whenever you like.
What you'll need
Baby lying comfortably on back, hands and feet uncovered. Diaper change time works well. Baby should be alert and calm. No mittens or socks.
