Bowling Over My Head
Parent sets up bowling pins (or water bottles) and guides child to throw a ball over their head using both hands to knock them down. The agent coaches the parent to observe whole-arm coordination, overhand throwing mechanics, and balance during forward bending — building gross motor skills and coordination.
Free to do together whenever you like.
What you'll need
Clear space for throwing. Set up 3-5 bowling pins (water bottles, plastic cups, or actual pins) about 6-8 feet away from throwing line. Have a soft ball (8-10 inches diameter) ready. Child should be wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
